Zilina Old Town Walk

We offer you a pleasant walking tour around the charming Old Town of Zilina. It is the fourth-largest city of Slovakia, located approx. 200 km north-east of Bratislava and was first mentioned in the 13th century. One of the most important attraction of Zilina is reconstructed historical centre. Our professional English-speaking guide will take you on a walking tour and familiarize you with Zilina’s history and culture. You will start your tour strolling along the Kysucka Street. On the Kalov street you will have a chance to admire art nouveau-style building of Remeslenicky dom. You will reach Frantiskanske namestie where the Baroque church of St. Barbara is located. You will continue your tour to Synagogue and Rosenfeldov Palace which is considered to be a miniature of the Vienna chateaux Belvedere. Then you will head toward the most important place of Zilina – to Marianske Square surrounded by arcade passages and burgher houses. You will admire buildings of Zilina Town Hall, Jesuit Closter with the church of St. Paul. You will also see one of the town’s most significant monuments – the Church of St. Trinity & Burian Tower.
