Banska Bystrica: Nitra & Beladice Tour

We offer you a guided tour from Banska Bystrica to two amazing tourist sites of Nitra and Beladice. Nitra is considered to be one of the oldest cities of Slovakia. It was founded upon the Nitra river in the Middle Ages. Nitra offers numerous wonderful attractions. Among them are Nitra Castle with St Emmeram’s Cathedral, Prince Pribina’s Square and Statue (first ruler of Nitra), the 17th – century Baroque Church of St Peter and Paul and an impressive building of a former Synagogue. You will take a pleasant walk along Old Town’s streets and you will learn more about Nitra’s history and understand why Nitra is called ‘The Bethlehem of Slovakia’. It is worth mentioning that the area, where Nitra is located, is extremely interesting. Beauty of nature, especially in the reserve of “Zaborska Lasostep” attracts many tourists. The next place you will visit during our tour will be Beladice – small village located only 20 km east of Nitra. The village is surrounded by luxuriant green landscapes. In Beladice you will take a look at original and beautiful jewel among manor-houses of Slovakia. The manor-house with the Park Hotel Tartuf is a protected cultural monument.
