Poprad: Tour to Auschwitz

Auschwitz-Birkenau Camp is widely known as a place where an incredible number of people were murdered during World War 2. The Auschwitz concentration camp was established by Nazi Germans in 1940 on the occupied Polish territory. The camp became a prison for several million people of various nationalities. The estimated number of murdered prisoners is 1,5 million. Nine out of ten vicitms were Jews. Among the rest of prisoners and victims were Poles, Gypsies and other nations.

We can organize a full day tour from Poprad to Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and State Museum.

Tour lasts approx 12 hours including 3,5 hours of sightseeing inside the camps
