Mala Fatra Hiking – 7 days

Let us take you to a magical region of Mala Fatra which is located in the westernmost Slovak high mountains. You will explore the lovely National Park of Mala Fatra with its gorges, waterfalls, beautiful hills and scenic views.

Day 1

When you come to Bratislava, we will pick you up and take you to the National Park of Mala Fatra. You will take part in a Welcome meeting during which you will learn more about the tour’s itinerary. Overnight in Terchova.

Day 2

We will take you on a pleasant walking tour through “Janosikove holes” . The level of difficulty is from easy to moderate. The trip will be relaxing and it is one of the most popular tours around Mala Fatra. Overnight in Terchova.

Day 3

After breakfast, you will take part in a lovely hiking tour to Velky Rozsutec peak which is considered to be one of the most impressive peaks of Slovakia. You will hear stories and legends about the gold and other treasures hidden here. You will cover the distance of 10km and see such places as Stefanova, Medzirozsutce, Veľky Rozsutec, Medziholie. Overnight in Terchova.

Day 4

You will take part in a tour to the ruins of Sulov castle. You will take a pleasant walk through forest and reach interesting rock formations at the top. You will have a picnic break there. Overnight in Terchova.

Day 5

This day, you will explore the narrowest canyon in Slovakia where bizarre rock formations can be found. You will go through Manínska tiesnava, Zaskalie, Vapencova jaskyna and Manínska tiesnava and cover the distance of 9 km. Overnight in Terchova.

Day 6

After breakfast, we will take you on a pleasant, easy hiking tour to ruins of one of the greatest castles of Slovakia lying on the top of a limestone cliff – Lietavsky Castle. You will admire fantastic views over Mala Fatra. You will also stop in Rajecke Teplice and/or in Cicmany famous for interesting architecture as well as in a unique Slovak Nativity in Rajecka Lesna. Overnight in Terchova.

Day 7

After breakfast, our tour ends. We will take you to the airport of Bratislava.
